Fiemme Amateur Astronomers Group

We are an Amateur Astronomy Group located in Val di Fiemme, an alpine italian valley in Dolomites.

We are devoted to scientific thought and astronomical sciences. Our members have experience levels varying from novice through expert. We organize many different kind of events:

  • Free lectures for general public from guest astronomers
  • Free observations of the sky with telescopes for general public
  • Courses for members
  • Travels to places of astronomical interest
  • Assistance and instruction for novices
  • Fight against light pollution
  • Argue against superstitions and pseudosciences: we are members of Cicap (italian CSICOP)
